What it is ---------- Freedom Coin keeps the parts of sound digital money that have already proven themselves, and rebuilds the cryptography underneath them for the quantum era. - Post-quantum from the first block. Coins are owned and spent with Dilithium5 signatures (NIST FIPS 204), the peer-to-peer network is encrypted with Kyber1024 (NIST FIPS 203), and all security-critical hashing is 512-bit. These are the standards the United States standards body finalized in 2024, not experiments. - A fixed supply of 10,000,000 coins. The cap is set at the genesis block and can be changed by no one. There was no pre-mine and there is no founder allocation, not a single coin. - Mined on ordinary computers. The proof-of-work is memory-hard, so there is no specialized-hardware arms race. A normal laptop or desktop is enough to take part. - Transparent and auditable. A fully public ledger means anyone can verify the entire supply independently. There is no hidden inflation and no privileged view of the books. - No masters. No administrative keys, no foundation, no creator who can freeze funds, reverse a payment, or rewrite the rules. The core rules are fixed at genesis, and the network is designed to keep running with no one in charge. - Open and verifiable.
